What i should do to get a glowing fair skin?

recommend the kinds of food i should take for that and advice me with proper skin care methods
What i should do to get a glowing fair skin?
Citrus fruits, vegetables, loads of water are some of the foods which will help clear your skin. Avoid alcohol, the sun without any skin protection, and smoking - all age and damage the skin.

Have a proper cleansing routine:

A cleanser (any from the chemist will do - it doesn't have to be expensive), use to remove makeup by rubbing well onto your face. Use a muslin cloth rinsed in hot water to remove - this will also gently exfoliate and cleans really well.

A mild facial scrub either bought or you can make your own by mixing ground almonds, ground oats with cider vinegar until you have a paste (it smells pretty strong though!). Use at most on alternate days.

Once a week/fortnight have a facial steam by filling a bowl with boiling water, putting your face over the bowl with a towel over your head to catch the steam. You could also put a couple of drops of Tea Tree oil in to help open the poors. Rinse your skin with cold water after.

A gel or mud face pack after your steam will deep clean your face. Again weekly or fortnightly will do. Choose a product that suits your skin.

Other good things for skin is to cut a tomato into pieces (so it is almost a paste) and rub it into your face. The acids will also help remove old skin. Leave for 10 mins before washing off. You can do similar with grapes.

Make sure your foundation if you use is non-comedogenic.

Use a moisturiser that suits your skin-type. If in doubt try a local makeup counter - you may also be able to take some samples away.

Finally, ensure that your hands are always clean and that you wash your makeup brushes and sponges regularly. Throw out any old makeup.

These won't stop you getting the odd blemish but with regular use your skin tone and texture should improve.

Skin Care Products: TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser and Age-Fighting Moisturizer, possibly Microdermabrasion - Mary Kay

Method for skin care:

Cleanser, Exfoliant, Freshener/Toner, Moisturizer. It;s best to use warm waterwhen cleansing your face. You can break this down to 2 steps with the products listed above. The 3-in-1 Cleanser takes care of the first 3. Microdermabrasion is not something you should do daily because it can be too harsh for your skin.

Try it every other day or every 2-3 days depending on your skin type. Follow directions carefully. If you choose to use these products, here is the process when using Microdermabrasion:

1. TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser

2. TimeWise Microdermabrasion Step 1: Refine

3. Time Wise Microdermabrasion Step 2: Replenish

4. TimeWise Age-Fighting Moisturizer

You should see great results! =)

Do Philosophy Acne Kit and Origins work for acne skin ?

I 'm 28 years old but I still have acne on my face. I also have scare from acne. I want some skin care to cure my face. I confuse between Philosophy and Origins. I need someone who has ever used them to advise me.
Do Philosophy Acne Kit and Origins work for acne skin ?
i think the philosophy one looks like a better all natural product.
Do Philosophy Acne Kit and Origins work for acne skin ?
i know from experience that pro active works as well as beati skin works ... just remember acne comes from sode and candy if u want it to stay away dont eat so much change the candy or soda habbit also it comes from skin iritation so try to keep from to much sun or to much scratching
Reply:nope i had the philosophy makeup optional kit and it really wasnt a major change try the oil cleansing method and using apply cider vinegar as toner
Reply:You should consider some other over-the-counter products, in addition to visiting a doctor if you have insurance. The price for Origins and Philopshy products are equal to or more than the co-pay for prescription products which *definitely* work, if you get the right one for you.

As far as products available without a prescription, I would recommend the Acne kits from Clean %26amp; Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit or Neutrogena Advance Solutions Complete Acne Therapy ... most of the higher-priced brands, like Origins and Philosophy, are great brands for "making good skin look better", and the same is true for department store skin products. There are only a few over-the-counter treatments for acne: salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, and resorcinol. All products available without a prescription contain these ingredients, so it's best to save your money and get the same stuff at your local drugstore.

What is a good age for kids to start taking care of their faces to help prevent acne and...?

what methods or products do you recommend. My mother was not real good about promoting good skin care. So I didn't take as good care of my face as I should, now there are big pores to deal with. I don't want that for my kids. I have a girl, 7 and a boy 6. When and what should be done.

Only those who have experience with this need answer.

I guess it's never too young to have them start washing their faces before bed, even just with a wet washcloth, but around age 12 or 13, I'd start introducing them to really mild facial cleansers (even just a mild soap, just to get used to the process) and if acne starts showing up, then move inot using products for acne (I like clean and clear and neutrogina, they have worked well for me).

I don't have kids, so I don't have first hand experience, but my mom started us off young washing our faces with washcloths before bed and it just stuck with me, now I do a facial cleanser in the shower in the morning and still just do a wet washcloth in the evening before bed. Good luck!

well, you can start promoting it by teaching them that drinking plenty of water %26amp; having a healthy diet contributes to not only good health, but naturally, good skin. and when they're old enough to brush their teeth (which at six %26amp; seven, they are), they should be old enough to know how to wash their faces. i would use (for yourself as well as for your children) all natural products. this will be much easier on the skin %26amp; healthier overall. i love burt's bees products. they even have products for babies, which young ones can use.
Reply:around 5th grade which is age 9 or 10
Reply:my mother told me about skincare at the age of 10 (before puberty). encourage your child to eat healthy, staying away from too much sugar and fat (clogs pores). by the age of 12, they should start using a simple foaming cleanser. as they grow, ensure that they use the 4 step technique:

1.cleanse- in the morning and at night with a good cleanser

2.tone- every 2 days, in the morning

3.exfoliate- once a week, with a gentle exfoliator, preferrably one with micro beads

4.moisturize- every night right before bedtime

this might sound like a drag, but it will ensure healthy skin. it is also advisable to visit the dermatologist every 6months
Reply:Normally upon reaching puberty. Just get a good but simple product which is not too strong for them. But if they are always out in the sun, its never too late to put on a sunscreen for face to prevent frekles. You could get good sunscreen from lots of counters. Try and get something which is more of a botanical product such as from Loccitane, or Origins. They have sunscreen which are suitable for children. I've difficulty getting my son to put them on but my girl does. Also a normal chapstick to protect their lips at all times. Hope this helps and take care.
Reply:my mom always told me i should start when i was 10, i never did i only did when i got a pimple , but of course that din't help! lol so i would really enforce it , they would appreaciate it in the long run! so i would say 5th grade so 10 years, wash face every morning and night ! and eat healthy adn drink lots of water !
Reply:Do not start too young! Starting too young when their faces dont produce oil as like in their teens, will only harm them. As products contains alot of chemicals, it will harm the skin as they dont need it and will cause products which they use later in life not to have a great effect as promised. This is so as their skin is already used to all those harsh chemicals.

Only start when the kids are in puberty. Start a proper regime for your kids and teach them proper hygiene. The regime should consist of the 3 steps, wash, tone and moisturise. Always start using a mild cleanser. A harsh one will only in turn cause the skin to produce more oil to protect the skin which can become acne problems. Use alcohol free toner. And use a appropriate moisturiser for the specified skin type . Remember even oily skins need a moisturiser.

For better results, use a mask weekly. And use one for the specified skin type.

Following the steps should prevent many problems. There are many products in the market available. Choose them wisely.
Reply:Around 10 or 11 is a perfect age to get them started on a skin care product. Puberty usually starts between ages 10 and 13 so if you start at 10 you can get them in a good routine before they really need it. Depending on what you're looking for Mary Kay makes a cleanser and moistuizer made specifically for ages 10 - 17. It's called Velocity and is packaged in an orange and white tube so it works for girls and boys. The products are fairly inexpensive and each tube will last 6 or more months. My cousins started using the product after puberty had already hit and it worked great, clearing up acne within a couple of weeks. And the best part of it all is that once they are 17-18 there is a skin care line that they can move up to.

I am 31 years old woman . I have oily skin with lots of blemishes . How often should i go for facial ?

what should be my skin care routine ?

if you have never had one, you could go for a chemical peel, because that may be the only way to get rid of the blemishes, which are probably ingrained in your skin.

normal facial care is important without overdoing it. some people tend to overtreat their skin, which can make it worse.

use a facial mask twice a week, but not more. use moisturizers at night to trick your skin into thinking it doesn't need to produce more oils

What is the best way to keep my skin looking young and healthy (without surgery)?

I'm 21 and I want to institute a skin care regimen early so that I can prevent the wrinkles my mother already has in her late 40s. What is the best way to do this? What are the best budget-friendly products for the job? Thanks!
What is the best way to keep my skin looking young and healthy (without surgery)?
The BEST thing you can do is avoid the sun. Sunscreen, SPF 30. Sun and cigarettes are the #1 cause of wrinkles.

Olay's regenerist products are a bit pricey, but in the long run, they work very well.

Keeping your skin moisturized is the first step. SPF moisturizers are a 2-in-1 miracle shield against wrinkles.

Also, to avoid making wrinkle-prone faces, wear sunglasses when daylight. You'd be amazed at the creases you can get from squinting.

thats good to be that kind of thinking..actually i advice my daughter too..shes 18y/o....well..at my age am 33 but most of my friend said i look 24 or so..young huh?? well at young age i drink vitamin E..whatever the brand name but i start using that when i was 17...and i could say it working..and try to avoid some vices...i dont smoke..i drink alcohol occasionally and i always apply some oil and lotion in my body after bathe...got 3 kids but am proud i dont look like one..hope i able to help you in this things..chaio
Reply:to look bold and beautiful you dont need a fake surgery to do the job . a tip is wear make up but earthy tones only because since you are only 21 years old if you put too much then you are going to have more wrinkles in the future if you dont want to use earthy tones then use a bold pink lipstick on your lips, u should also use black eyeliner or if you really want to be your self then dont wear any eyeliner, for eye shadow you dont really have to use those light green and blue eyeshadows a really good tip for you is to put alittle bit of lipstick but remember keep it real. and if you really dont want to use make up then your second choice could be creams try the new aloe vera it really works well!!!

good luck
Reply:Live a healthy lifestyle.

Dont skip meals but do it moderately, exercise (you dont have to go to the gym, you only have to stay active). Eat healthy foods and drink lots of water. Get at least 6 hours of sleep. Remember that younger looking skin comes from within.

Also try to moisturize using Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). Its a great product to make your skin look young. Your mother can even use it. Try it.. it works wonders..Good Luck.
